Kitchen Assistant

(fixed term maternity cover to July 2027)

Hours 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. term time only

Scale 1a - £13,766 per annum

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support our lunchtime service at Worple.

You will be responsible for receiving deliveries of prepared meals and ensuring that food is stored and maintained at the correct temperature before being served to the children. You will also help ensure that the cutlery, kitchen and surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy, working alongside the SMSA before leaving each day.

We are looking for someone who is:

Able to build a good rapport with children and staff
Organised and able to follow food hygiene and safety procedures
Committed to maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment
